Nicholas Vest served as the lab manager in the LEAD Lab at Indiana University from 2017 to 2019. He worked on projects related to children's patterning skills, the role of gesture in learning, and feedback's influence on problem solving. After leaving the LEAD Lab, Nicholas pursued a PhD in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison under the advising of Dr. Martha Alibali.
Lindsey Nelson was a graduate student in the LEAD Lab at Indiana University from 2017 to 2020 and earned a Masters degree in Psychological Sciences. She led projects that focused primarily on children's metacognitive skills and their relation to mathematics learning. After leaving the LEAD Lab, Lindsey landed a job as a teacher in a Montessori School working directly with elementary school children.
